Democartic Primaries - Why Delegates and not Popular Votes?

Im watching the Democratic Primaries (go Obama). Im just curious why do they have delegates when they could just use popular votes and who ever gets the most at the very end (all states accounted for), is the winner?

I agree with you completely. and lets not forget things like blood clotting if this was something that was a skill we evolved how would we have done this, the first person to get cut would have bled to death how could his children if he lived long enough to have any, have learned to develop the complex system that involves blood clotting. just one of may reasons Evolution has more holes than swiss cheese.

Why does Obama promise to lower taxes on 95%of the people and raise it on the rest?

"Promise" is the operative word here. When taxes are raised on any segment of the population they affect everyone whether in direct taxes, increased costs of goods and services, lower wages and loss of jobs. Democrats repeatedly and often claim to be better educated than Republicans, but I have found none who could p a basic math test! The appeal of Obama's promise is wealth distribution - talk about Voo Doo economics!

Weird dream from when I was 9? What does it mean?

I was at the house I used to live at, and my brothers were in the basement playing with a "remote" tarantula. Then it came upstairs really fast. Shall such killings continue in a civilized human society ? How is the boy selected ? How do the parents allow ? In a Hindu temple in Karnataka state, once a year on a day after special worship, many ladies come out of the temple & run on the roads of the city in nude, some with ten year old son too. In Yelamma temple of South India , prostitution is allowed & considered good works. There are similar smaller temples nearby. In many temples ladies called devdasis( maid servants of God) are put into prostitution legally. Is that religious in those areas ? I don't know.
