Is it wrong to switch my sons soccer team?

Well i used to be a division one player and of course the practices did help but what my dad did was he read books and taught me everything thats pretty much how i became an elite player.so aslong as ur kid is having fun and ur there to teach him sum moves (outside cut if used affectivly is dead) then he should be aight
