When will gold hit $1500 an ounce?

With the current troubles in the financial markets, gold and other commodities like silver should be rising as they represent the only things that are universally known for true value. Gold has already been over $1000 US an ounce and should exceed that amount by next summer hitting $1500 an ounce. What are your thoughts?
