Will airfare come down after Thanksgiving ,at least for a short time.?

Hi, I recently ped on what I thought was a decent price on tickets for certain cirstances less than 10 days ago, I recently looked the day before thanksgiving and they shot up in price more than $100.00. I don't need to fly until the first week of Jan. 2011. My question is did I miss my window of opportunity for a small fare or do you think I may still have a chance for the fares to come down at least for a short time.
