Im watching the Democratic Primaries (go Obama). Im just curious why do they have delegates when they could just use popular votes and who ever gets the most at the very end (all states accounted for), is the winner?

"Promise" is the operative word here. When taxes are raised on any segment of the population they affect everyone whether in direct taxes, increased costs of goods and services, lower wages and loss of jobs. I am so scared that I have cancer. I started with a pain in my right lower stomach in January, which I thought was appendicitis but turned out not to be. Switched birth control, weird period..women w/experience or ideas?

I switched my birth control pills after last period(yasmin to yaz). My periods always starts on Friday for yasmin, but it was scheduled to start this Wednesday for yaz. It didn't come Wed or Thurs, but it came today(Friday), as if my body is still use to the yasmin. The thing is that its just brown..or maroon color, not normal red color, and it's not heavy, and I'm having no cramps what so ever. Thursday late at night I had brown discharge too. Do you think it's the switching pills that my body is just trying to get use to or can I be pregnant? It was very short but I was worried the condom leaked or something so I took Plan B about 30 hours later just in case. A week later I had a very heavy period that lasted a week. I am having "ovary" pains but I'm not sure when they started. Somehow I got it in my head that the pains mean I am pregnant and I've been worrying the heck out of it. I called the Plan B hotline to ask about side effects but basically all I got out of it was that every woman's body is different. I really think it is highly unlikely that I'm pregnant seeing how we used a condom and how my period was so heavy. Even the idea of taking a pregnancy test freaks me out. I haven't talked to any friends or family about it so I guess I'm looking for advice. I read that it can take time for your periods to be regular again after Plan B so I'm thinking maybe the pains are because I'm getting another one soon. Anyone with experience with Plan B please help. Should I just take a darn test to make sure? Also I am taking bromocriptin to treat a pituitary adenoma if that makes a difference. Thank you

This country is so great because of all the freedoms we get, but as in recent laws such as don't ask, don't tell, the leaders of this country are being religiously biased towards their actions now I chose that example because ity is denounced in the "Holy Bible" thus, making our congressmen vote for these christian-based laws to not let them be married except for a few select states. Rats just wont get along?

I have two male rats, one is about 5 months and the other is 8 months. I've done several things to try and get them together in the same cage but nothing seems to work. When they fight it is horrible. My younger one's fur comes out and my older one just keep pestering him. There are loud squeaks that comes from my young one. I've tried everything, vanilla, putting their cages next to each other for 3 weeks, switching them to each others cage. Nothing seems to work. I'm thinking that they just have to be separate because once they see each other. My older one goes to groom my younger one. The young one stands still for a second then squeaks then bam fight. So please help me. Are they still just fighting for dominance and should i let them duke it out ((I always stop them once i see fur coming out, or if the fighting seems really violent)) or are they destined to be alone at this point.

White Objects Embedded into Tonsils?

Recently, I've looked at my tonsils after feeling something irritate them, and I see decent sized white dots on them. Not like a series of a lot, like one or two. They weren't similar to what I saw when I had tonsilitious, so I ended up taking a toothpick to see if they would come out. They did, and they're like squishy whitish-yellow objects that had latched onto my tonsils. After I removed it, there was nothing there anymore, except a small indent left from where it was. I keep getting more of these things lately, and they are really annoying to get out without risk of injury. I don't know if they are pieces of food or what. Can anyone tell me what this might be before I take myself to a dentist about it?

Unable to breathe after throwing up?

I spent the night drinking and when I came home in the morning I felt really sick (headache and nausea). I went to the bathroom feeling like throwing up but my stomach was empty so i just had a bit of gastric acid (or whatever it was) coming up my throat. I guess I swallowed and right after that I was unable to breathe for a few seconds - I was trying really hard to inhale but very little air was ping through. It didn't feel like choking at all and it just went away after some time. I'm not sure what it was and it scared me - maybe airway constriction? I never experienced anything similar, no respiratory problems. If relevant, I was very upset when it happened.

Im a full A small B..I want something natural looking. Only a cup size bigger..probably a full B small C cup. I'm very fearful though that people will think I'm fake. Leg of lamb shouldn't have been frozen in the first place. If you are going to make leg of lamb, make it fresh. But, no, it MUST be defrosted before you cook it. Otherwise, the inside will never cook to temperate and you will risk food poisoning. Also, I hope you did not leave it sit out for 6-7 hours defrosting as that is something you should never do. Always defrost in the refrigerator, or if you must, a microwave but never let meat sit out or sit in sink of water to defrost.

Getting rid of rain marks on saddle?

i was riding in my crosby saddle (it's a few months old) and it started raining, i got off to go into the indoor arena and it rained a little bit on the saddle. it's been a few weeks and i've cleaned the saddle multiple times and oiled it once, but the marks are still there. the leather scuffs easily when i ride, which sucks, but isn't the end of the world because my leg covers those marks when im sitting in the saddle. however, the rain marks are all over the saddle and i don't think i could show with the saddle in its current condition. does anyone have ideas about how to get rid of the marks? i heard neet's foot (or darkening) oil might get rid of the, but im a little bit hesitant to try that

I think it should be left alone, because i think it might bore people to read the same thing again. Try to get this one published and see if people go for it...who knows? Maybe it will develop a fanbase and people will love it so much that they'll want to read something similar...if the book has fans, they'll fall in love with the characters and want to read more of them. Make sure in the first book that the characters are relatable, the world is fantastical, and the story is captivating, then people will want to read a sequel and you can begin to write one. 1997 GMC K1500 4x4 5.7 ex.cab SFI injection system?

fuel pump died replaced it truck ran poorly afterwards. Had a prussuer test done pump determend pump was no good. Put in another ran good for 2 days started running poorly hard to start no power. 2nd fuel pump. So i figure another bad new fuel pump wow changed it put in a third brand new fuel pump. Still will not eve start now. I had it tuned up 2 months ago new plugs rotor, cap, etc. put in a new fuel filter made sure it is on proper checked all connections for leaks. this cannot be a fuel pump problem now. no problem with the elctrical i figure i have great spark on ignition tester. I can hear the fuel pump prime when i turn the key. but when i went and checked the fuel port i had no pressure. When it is being cranked gas sews out of the test port. Also i dont if this is comon cause i used to turn my keyand go. but when i have someone turn the key and i listen at the gas tank whn the key is shut off i hear gs spraying back into the gas tank. So i am open for opinions.

Wow, I would say you have a decent shot although your gpa is a little on the lower side. If you absolutely have your hearts sets on the U of I (and it's absolutely amazing and I love it and it's the greatest thing that has ever happened to me), one thing you can consider is applying for admission through the agriculture college (ACES). A lot of people I know who weren't sure if they could get into the U of I came in through ACES and switched to different programs when they got here. It's not the most honest way in, but it has proven to work in a number of cases. So see what happens with getting into engineering or business school and if they reject you, try applying again with any major through the ACES college.

MY two Border Collie/ Red Tick Hounds remember everything they do. I can come home and if they've gotten into the garbage or eaten the cat's food no matter how long its been they remember. When I punish my dogs I like to use a squirt bottle and I spray them right in the face. It sounds mean but its one of the things the vet told me to do. Sending him outside might be sending mixed messages like you said, he wont put going outside together with a punishment. Another thing we do at my house is crate them. I put them right infront of whatever they did wrong and I leave them there for a few minutes. Being an outside dog he might think that when hes in the house he doesnt have to listen. You just have to show him that your the boss and that when you dont want him doing something he shouldnt be doing it.
