Help me plsss !!! why my hair have stopped growing in lenght?

My hair used to be bellow my hip length but since 2 years they only grow til near my shoulders. Why so?? I am 25 years female and very much depressed. My hair are straight and silky. I have never used any pirming or straightening. Is it some deficiency?? What is it pls help i request.
