How can i use tooltips along with combobox in .net?

I have this long list of items that i want to display(along with their codes). I can't put them inside a combobox, because they're a bit long for that, So i thought of only puting their codes in the combobox and display the descriptions using tooltips but i dont know how, does anybody have any solutions for this? thanks!
