Have you ever fallen asleep at the wheel of a vechicle and managed not to hurt anyone but yourself?

My brother was in an accident today, where he fell asleep at the wheel and plowed through on rotted tree and hit a second that was healthy. I have also fallen asleep at the wheel. I was just wondering how common this kind of accident really was.
